UK Summer Dance Intensive - Tuition / Registration

June 5 - 9, 2023

Participants (with Parents/Guardians where applicable) are required to separately submit a filled and signed COVID-19 Notice, Emergency Contact, CFA Photo/Video Waiver, and Participation Consent forms. Please submit these forms to Susie Thiel as soon as possible after registering. Registration is not complete without signed and submitted legal forms. All guests on the University of Kentucky campus will abide by the current COVID policies in place. Learn more about the current UK COVID policy. If any changes occur, The College of Fine Arts will communicate to all summer program participants before arriving to campus. Students must be at least 13 years of age and a high school freshman by fall 2023 to participate.

Intensive Tuition is $500 for 2023 including a non-refundable summer operating fee. Limit 30 students. Optional Housing is 5 nights, Sunday-Thursday, $45 per night with linens provided, and $35 per night if you bring your own linens. Meals for the week at UK Dining facilities are $164.50 and cover Sunday dinner, Monday-Thursday breakfast/lunch/dinner, and Friday breakfast/lunch. A discount is available for UK Theatre and Dance current students and alumni to bring tuition costs down to $300, please contact Susie Thiel for your discount code before you register.

Need based scholarships are available! Please email a dance resume and 500 word essay to Susie Thiel by April 1st, 2023: Discuss the importance of attending the summer dance intensive. The student may consider what they will get from the dance intensive, future goals and financial needs. Recipients will be sent a code to reduce tuition at checkout.
